On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, our hearts were saddened by the passing of our mother Evalina “Cricket” Condry.
Evalina was born on October 15, 1932, in Wakulla County, Fl. To the late Livonia Lucas and Jenelt Lewis, her stepfather was David Moore. Evalina was a loving mother, grandmother, goddaughter, auntie, sister, and true friend. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Eustis Fl. Evalina loved helping whoever she could, her door was always open. She always smiled and talked with a soft voice. She had a huge heart for people, collected dolls, and loved to fish when she was able to. Her favorite saying was” leave it in the Lord’s hands and don’t worry about it”. She worked at Golden Gem for over 28 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert (H.C.); daughter Collen Evans, son Albert Wilson, sisters- Ewell Hardy, and Geneva Young, brothers- Willie Pope, and Elijah Lewis, and grandson Charlie Washington. Her Precious memories will be forever cherished by her children: Eva (Jerry) Washington, Eustis Fl, Gary Lewis, Eustis, Fl, Lee Lewis, Winter Haven, Rose Lewis, Eustis Fl; Tony Evans and David Evans Eustis Fl; 13 grandchildren, 30-great grandchildren, 5-great great-grandchildren; Goddaughter Gertrude Williams, best friend Katie McNeily, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and other sorrowing friends.
