Mr. Philip “Scott” Smith of Mt Dora passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Scott was born Sunday, September 10, 1972 in Tampa, FL to Joseph H. Smith Sr. and Phyllis Skanks Perez.
In addition to his parents Scott is survived by his devoted wife, Amber Smith; his daughter, Kaitlyn Smith, and sons, Micah Smith and Liam Smith. He is also survived by his stepmother, Denise Smith, his brothers, Joseph H. Smith Jr. (Dawn) and David A. Force (Rachel); and his grandmother, Alice McNabb.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Gary W. Skanks and Eleanor F. Turney and by his paternal grandfather, Leo Smith.
Scott graduated from Leesburg High and worked in pest control most of his life.
His funeral service will be held Saturday January 28, 2023 at 4:00pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 18934 FL-44, Eustis, FL 32736.
