Billie Jo Jasionowski fell asleep in Christ on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the age of 79 years and now awaits the resurrection of the dead which was her earnest hope in Christ Jesus. Billie Jo was born in Orlando, FL on September 18, 1943, to her parents, Joseph Reynolds Brockman and Dorothy Annette Jones, who both pre-deceased her. She grew up with three other siblings: Phyllis, Deloris, and Brad who all pre-deceased her. Billie Jo graduated from Boone High School in Orlando in 1961 and then went to work for Tupperware Home Parties, Inc. in Kissimmee, FL. It was at Tupperware that she met the love of her life, Tommy Jasionowski, and they married on her birthday in 1964 and were married for 57 years until Tommy’s death in April of 2022. Through the late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, she was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, PTA mom, field trip mom and Sunday School teacher. She was always dedicated, and busy, with raising and caring for her family. Billie Jo was an extraordinarily strong woman and was not one who sat on the sidelines of life. She seized each day as a gift from the Lord. She was always involved and always willing to help other families and friends. In the 90’s, with her family raised, she briefly went to work in various executive assistant roles and dedicated herself to caring for her own father who suffered a stroke. Her efforts in caring for him were an inspiration to many. By the 2000’s, she was retired with Tommy to their home in Howey in the Hills where she enjoyed gardening, traveling, walking regularly and being near her two wonderful grandchildren. Sadly, in 2011, she was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer from which she never fully recovered. Her family will always be grateful to the many families and friends who helped over those difficult years. Throughout Billie Jo’s adult life, she was a dedicated student of the Bible and was a member of the Orlando Christadelphians (Brethren in Christ) and was baptized into the one hope of the resurrection in Christ Jesus in 1964.

Billie Jo is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jasionowski of Albuquerque, NM, and her son, Michael T. Jasionowski and daughter-in-law, Victoria, of Howey in the Hills, FL. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Emmaline Wolfe of Temple, TX, and Michael Jr. of Howey in the Hills, along with many other friends and family.

Friends and family will gather at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9 at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations in Tavares.
