A moonlight paddle tour with the Friends Of Lake Griffin is scheduled for Jan. 6.
Kayakers will paddle to the Dead River Marsh along the shores of Lake Griffin. Participants will be able to observe the marsh when nighttime wildlife is most active.
Registration can be made at the Friends of Lake Griffin State Park web page. Paddlers should plan on arriving at the park by 4:45 p.m. The $5 entrance fee will apply for this event.
