An Atlanta man was arrested after allegedly burglarizing three cars in Leesburg.

Leesburg police officers were dispatched early Tuesday morning to the 1700 block of East Line Street at 3:02 a.m. when a 911 caller reported seeing a man, later identified as 22-year-old Isaiah Z. Dexter,  attempting to enter a green Buick which was owned by the caller’s aunt. The caller described how Dexter moved onto another car where he was able to gain entry. When the officers arrived at the residence, they found Dexter in a third car and placed him under arrest.

Dexter told the officers that he had been looking for a lighter which the officers found in his right front pocket.

After going through the booking process at the Leesburg Police Station, he was charged with three counts of burglary to an automobile. He was taken to the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $15,000.
