Elizabeth A. Byrd of Eustis, Florida passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 83.
She was born in Longview, Washington. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University, where she was also a debate coach. Beth went on to teach at English, speech and debate at Fort Collins High School in Colorado. She had a true passion for art and was an amazing artist. Beth loved painting, especially flowers and created beautiful murals. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She also like to write and wrote wonderful stories.
Beth is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 39 years, James “Jim” Byrd; son, Stuart (Linda) Fulton of Vienna, Virginia; daughters, Kathy Tucker of Eustis, Amanda (Doug) McCormack of Yalaha, Florida and Rachael (Mike) Shea of Mount Dora, Florida; sister, Jean Koehler of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Bryce, Brooke, Breanna, Bridget, Jordan, Jury, Josie, Grace, Emily and Kaitlynne; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Valentina, Ellie, Alyvia, Gabriel and Reece.
