A drunk driving suspect with a child in her truck allegedly offered a sex act to a police officer after she was arrested.
Justinea Marie Lacy, 34, was at the wheel of a black truck early Saturday morning at the entrance to Lake Square Mall on U.S. Hwy. 441 when she nearly collided with a Leesburg Police Department squad car which had its emergency lights on while investigating a traffic accident.
Lacy told the officer that she had not seen the patrol car with flashing lights because she has astigmatism, according to the arrest report. The officer noted that Lacy had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath, her eyes were glassy and bloodshot. Lacy had a minor child in the truck.
When Lacy was asked to perform standardized field sobriety exercises, she refused and became extremely angry. She claimed she had done nothing wrong. Lacy began cursing and hurled a racial slur at the officer.
Lacy was placed under arrest and her mother was called to take custody of the child.
When Lacy was being processed at the Leesburg Police Department, she continued to act out and would not cooperate with the officer when he attempted to take her picture as part of the booking procedure. She then asked the officer about his sexual activity and even asked him if he would like her to perform a sexual act, according to the arrest report. Lacy refused to provide a breath sample.
Lacy was charged with DUI and child neglect. She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $3,000 bond.
