Ronald Edward Bachert

Ronald Edward Bachert of Leesburg Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on September 14th, 2022.

Born in Laporte, Indiana July 11th, 1951, and adopted by John and Ione Bachert, and would join the Marin Corps on February 27th, 1969, and quickly gain the rank of E-4 Corporal as a Rifleman during the Vietnam War. He is the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and the Rifle Sharpshooter badge. He left that life behind him and became a beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years Sandra Bachert. His children, are Anthony Bachert, Shawna Eldridge, Heather Blaker, Holly Marshall, Johnathan Marshall, Bradley Marshall, and Christopher Marshall. His Grandchildren, Ashtian Marshall, Alexis Marshall, Matthew Marshall, Amber Marshall, Courtney Guenther, James Rudy Guenther Jr, and Leo Guenther Rebekah Paige. He was a Christian man and a baptized believer.

The services will be held at 1123 W. Main St. Leesburg, FL on Saturday, October 1st with a gathering starting at 1 PM and the service to begin at 2 PM. We will see you there, and in the best Ron impression “Don’t rock the jukebox”.
