In memory of Roger Lea Schillig, 76, who passed away on September 12th, 2022, at his home in Eustis Florida after a short illness.

He was a long-time resident of Marengo Indiana and recently moved to Florida to be near family members. He was a retired machinist tool and dye maker, where he worked for many years. He loved raising and training horses with his late wife Linda Dockery Schillig for barrel racing at rodeo competitions. He enjoyed 1950’s country music, driving his corvette and fishing with his late brother Rick.

Survived by: his Fiancé Carol J Allen of Lawrence, Indiana; His Son Roger Schillig Jr, (Paula) of Leetonia Ohio, and Dave Schillig (Tracy) of Alliance Ohio, Two grandkids. A sister Sherry Sarver (Jeff) of Alliance Ohio, Brothers Mike Schillig (Lisa) Louisville Ohio, Denny Schillig Hartville Ohio, Jeff Schillig (Ruby) Eustis Florida and (Lori) wife of the late brother Rick Schillig, along with several friends in Indiana including two special friends Lorraine and Sheilia. Preceded in death by Father Herman Leroy Schillig, Mother Gertrude Arlene Smith of Harrisburg Ohio, Brother Richard Schillig Lewisburg Tennessee.

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers please donate to your locale facilities for the elderly and/or Hospice.
