Persis Ann Dantuma, 88 of Deer Island, FL, passed away on May 4, 2022. She was born on June 24, 1933, in Grand Rapids, MI, to her parents William and Beatrice (Ruppert) Hartson. She was the president of a company in the magazine industry and a member of Rolling Hills Community Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Brenda Schang; sons: Dirk (Ruth) Dantuma, Jeff (Mary) Dantuma, Ray (Helen) Dantuma, Kort (Kristin) Dantuma and Dries Dantuma; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years: Edward Fred Dantuma
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 3:00PM with a gathering of friends from 2:00-3:00PM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish in Tavares, FL.
