Sandra Kay Schmitz Parsons, age 83, born in Topeka, Indiana December 5, 1938 went to meet her Lord on May 5, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years Raymond R. Schmitz, Sr. in 1989 and her husband of 17 years Donald Parsons in 2012. Sandra and her family moved to Florida in 1976 from San Jose, California. Raymond and Sandra owned 2 restaurants: Sandys Donuts in Campbell City, CA and Uncle Rays Kountry Kitchen in St. Cloud, FL. Donald and Sandra owned Sandy’s Place in St. Cloud, also a restaurant. She moved to Eustis, FL in 2005 where she was manager of Colony Court Apartments until 2017 when she retired. She enjoyed crafts, family and people.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Ben Schmitz of Clermont, FL and Tom Schmitz of Lakeland, FL; 2 stepchildren, Janie Kimmel of Kissimmee, FL and Donald Parsons, Jr. of St. Cloud, FL; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM. Inurnment will take place at Lakeside memory Gardens, Eustis, FL.
