No trash pickup Monday in Leesburg due to MLK holiday

City of Leesburg offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, Jan. 17. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, January 20. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

The Leesburg Public Library will be closed Jan. 17 and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 18 with normal operating hours.

Many city services can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.
