A Missouri motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday in Lake County.
The 69-year-old man was southbound on State Road 19 at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday when he attempted to make a right turn to travel west on County Road 19A near Grand Island when he lost control of the motorcycle, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. His motorcycle overturned in a ditch after striking a sign.
He was transported to AdventHealth Waterman where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
