Rolla LeRoy Rink

Rolla LeRoy Rink, “60”, known to his friends as “Roy”, departed this life on December 29, 2021. Roy was born in Winterset, Iowa, to parents Ray and Mary Rink. Roy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lora Rink, three daughters, Niky, Amber and Lisa as well as five grandchildren. He was also survived by his brothers, Skip, Don, Ron, Charles and sister Marty. Roy also has many extended family members. Roy was predeceased by his parents Ray Rink and Mary Brammer Rink. Roy was employed by the City of Leesburg for twenty years as a valued employee in various capacities with his final years in supervisory positions. Roy was also a licensed Gunsmith. He and his wife Lora opened their own Gunsmith shop in Leesburg where they enjoyed working with both antique guns as well as newer models and accessories on weekends. Roy was also an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed riding trips with his wife. Roy was a U. S. Army veteran who served his country with pride. He was also a member of the local Leesburg Am Vets as well as a Lifetime Patron of the National Rifle Association .

Inurnment will be at a later date to be announced. Arrangements are being handled by The Cremation Society. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for January 22, 2022 at 10:00A.M. , Yalaha Farm, Hwy 48 Yalaha Fl. Favorite stories will be shared.
