Rita Swalagin Langfeld Rosenquist, 81, of Tavares, Florida went home to walk with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2021. She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on Valentine’s Day, to Charles and Rita Swalagin. She graduated from South River High School in New Jersey and Katharine Gibbs in New York City. She married her high school sweetheart; they moved to Pompano Beach and then to Tavares, Florida. They had four children. She was employed in the Secretarial field most of her professional life and was a Realtor in Pompano Beach. She retired from Lake-Sumter State College after twenty-one years of service. She was of Catholic Faith. She was an avid ballroom dancer and a voracious reader. She is survived: Donna Hey of Leesburg, FL, William Langfeld of Florida, Dawn Langfield of Mount Dora, Florida and Waynoe Langfeld of Florida; Grandsons Spencer (Mollie) Hey of Tavares, Florida and Tyler Hey of Mount Dora, Florida; Great Grand Son, Parker Brady Hey of Tavares, Florida; Sisters, Eileen Saloom and Jean of New Jersey; Brother Kenneth Swalagin of Pennsylvania; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM.
