Betty Jane Givens, 89, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. Born in Hart, Michigan, she moved to Eustis in 1977 from Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Betty worked as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Whitney Baptist Church, Leesburg. Betty is survived by her 3 sons, David Paul Givens, Lynchburg, VA, Jonathan Mark Givens, Lynchburg, VA, Andrew Lee Givens, Wildwood, GA; daughter, Deborah Ann Sherwood, Leesburg, FL; half-brother, Jim Olin Ellis, Greenville, MI; half-sister, Aneita Louise Porter, Muskegon, MI; 3 grandchildren, Charity, Sarah, Joy; 5 step-grandchildren, Christen, Daniel, Emily, James, Andy; 1 great-grandchild, Logan. Services will be held at Whitney Baptist Church, Leesburg on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 PM.
