Lucille Schank, 98, of Wildwood, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in Wildwood, FL. She was born October 31, 1923 in Ponce, P.R. to Manuel and Aurea “Alevlo” Morales. In describing this beautiful lady, /Contagious laughter, Enthusiastic, Playful and Loving. Post World War II, On the year 1946, Lucille left her home town of Ponce, PR to come to New York for a better life. In New York is where Lucille started working in a factory where they manufacture radio parts for Transistor Radios. This factory is where Lucille met her handsome, honorable Veteran: Nathan Schank. They fell in Love and started their lives in their early mid 1940’s. Husband Nathan Schank went on to college-became an electrical engineer while wife Lucy worked at Bell Atlantic. Soon after, They bought a house in Englewood NJ and thrived. Lucy was determined to live her life on purpose starting with fashion. Inspired by Christian Diors new fashion designs along with other designers in the 1940s. Lucy was a picture of elegance and followed fashion trends throughout her life along with perfectly matched accessories. Lucy especially love vibrant colors and floral designs, not to mention her most favorite accessories were her beautiful hats. Lucille was always loving and supportive to her family, especially her sister in law, Santa and her Nieces and Nephews in the absence of their father. Her closest relatives are her Nieces and Nephew who have been by her side when her beloved husband went to heaven and estranged daughter disappeared. Her Life with us was about a bunch of imperfect moments with laughter to make perfect memories. .She was the life of the party anywhere and anytime. Without her we would have missed so many experiences. She loved to travel and get into trouble. She always said she had a “heart of a bull”. She taught us to laugh hard and show our best side. You will always live in us. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Nathan Schank on February 1, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Schank; nieces: Linda (Tom) Dray-Brennan, Brenda Morales; Denise Morales, Catherine Morales, and Theresa Morales; Nephew, George Morales; several great-nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews..

There will be a viewing from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, December 28, 2021 with a prayer service beginning at 11:00 am at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785. Lucille will be buried with her husband, Nathan Schank at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
