Lake County Commission recognizes efforts of hospice caretakers

The Lake County Commission has recognized the efforts of Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care during Hospice Month.
Commissioner Sean Parks presented a proclamation to the hospice team.
Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care helped meet the medical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of over 3,800 patients – adults and children – throughout Lake and Sumter counties last year. They did it with the help of more than 600 trained volunteers who contributed over 22,000 hours of service.
