A Leesburg teen has racked up multiple felony charges in a six-day period.

Eighteen-year-old Stacy Harvard was arrested  around midnight Nov. 10. Leesburg police had responded to a 911 call from an apartment complex located in the 1400 block of Old Harbor Boulevard. The caller told the dispatcher that a group of youths were breaking into cars. Harvard, along with three juveniles, was captured after a foot chase. They were initially charged with loitering or prowling. Harvard was released on his promise to appear on those misdemeanor charges.

Before Harvard could leave the Lake County Jail he was arrested on charges stemming from cashing a check that had been stolen from a local business. A detective had been looking for Harvard when he was arrested on the misdemeanor charges. He posted $5,000 bond on a number of felony charges stemming from the stolen check.

Five days later he was arrested on charges of petit theft and burglary to a motor vehicle when officers investigating the car burglaries were able to determine that Harvard had been in possession of a  credit card which had been taken from one of the burglarized cars. His bond was set at $6,000 which he posted the next day.
