Vernon Wheeler Lovering, 78, passed away on September 3, 2021. Born February 7, 1943, the son of the late Clarence and Mabel Lovering and a native of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Vernon was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country.   In 1963, Vernon married his loving wife Jeanne and together the two shared over 58 years of love and happiness. He worked at the Manchester Water Works and United States Post Office.  He owned and managed an RV park in Leesburg, Florida 1977 – 1983.  Then retired and traveled all over the United States and Canada.  Moving to Yuma, Arizona in 2008, he took on various part-time jobs until recently moving back to Florida.

Vernon is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children, Kathy Lovering and Trudi Lawson (Glenn); grandchildren, Alyssa Fisher (Lucas); great grandchildren, Zachary Fisher and Kendall Fisher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ivan Lovering.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 14 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice & Palliative Care, 4226 Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or at communityhospice.com.
