Robert Lee Storts, 87, of Leesburg, FL, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
He was born May 21, 1934, in Fairfield County, Ohio, son of the late Charles Warren “Charley” Storts and Mary E. Alspach Storts. Robert was a retired U.S. Army veteran and a 25-year member of the Division of Fire – City of Columbus, Ohio. Robert enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper, watching his favorite sports & TV shows, and spending time with family and extended family. Robert took joy in being a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and retired firefighter and paramedic.
He is survived by 1 son, Michael (Ginger) Storts; 2 grandchildren, Solomon Storts, Hope Storts; and 1 sister, Judith “Judy” Kay Storts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Betty Lou Storts; and 1 sibling, Shirley Ann Vance Storts.
Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 25th, 2021, at Church @ The Springs Villages Campus, 1601 Tracy Ave., Lady Lake, Florida 32159.
