John Henry Erkert III

John Henry Erkert, III, 58, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2021 at his residence. John was born on May 8, 1963 in Sea Isle City, New Jersey to his parents John H. Erkert, Jr and Joanne (Hyson) Erkert.

John was a former owner in the Restaurant Industry. When he lived in New Jersey he was the former Owner of Jack’s Place in Avalon, New Jersey and in Florida he owned 3 J’s Pizzeria in Leesburg. He was a member of Celebration Baptist Church of Leesburg. He enjoyed sports especially watching wrestling, football and basketball.

He is survived by his wife: Tara Erkert of Tavares, FL; his parents: John H. Erkert, Jr. and Joanne Erkert of Leesburg, FL. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, James Vincent Erkert.
