Leesburg man taken into custody after found in possession of crack cocaine and Oxycodone

A Leesburg man was taken into custody after he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and Oxycodone.

Chazarra Lamar Lindsey, 33, had been driving a Buick at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday in Tavares when he was pulled over by a police officer. Lindsey appeared “very nervous” and was “fumbling around as he tried to light his cigarette,” according to an arrest report from the Tavares Police Department. He was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, Oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $2,500 bond.
