A suspected drug seller was arrested after a traffic stop in Leesburg.

Dexter Jerome Mitchell, 41, who lives at 149 Grove Ridge Circle in Leesburg, was a passenger in a red Hyundai that was pulled over at about 2 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Center Street and Chester Street, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The female driver had been traveling at a high rate of speed, the report said.

Mitchell, was “moving around a lot” during the traffic stop and claimed he “was going to pee himself,” which he did. A search of the vehicle turned up a glass jar which held three plastic bags containing marijuana. The marijuana weighed 25 grams. Mitchell was also found to be in possession of four grams of methamphetamine and 5.5 grams of cocaine.

He was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $5,000 bond.
