A woman was arrested after allegedly throwing a vacuum cleaner at the father of her child.
Courtney Harvard, 20, was arrested Monday on a charge of aggravated battery Monday at the man’s residence on Berwick Drive, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
A police officer witnessed Harvard pick up the vacuum cleaner, throwing it at the man, striking him in the hand and the ribs. She also took his cell phone and threw it on the ground, rendering it inoperable.
Harvard was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail on $4,000 bond.
