A husband who criticized his wife’s parenting skills was arrested after allegedly pulling a knife on her.

Jesus Ovidio Bueso Garza, 32, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Saturday night by Lake County sheriff’s deputies.

His wife told law enforcement that she and her husband have been having marital issues and that he has been “telling her that she hasn’t been doing a good job of being a mother,” according to an arrest report. She said during the argument, he put a knife to her neck.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
