LSSC to operate virtually due to Tropical Storm Elsa  

In anticipation of possible impacts from Tropical Storm Elsa, Lake-Sumter State College will close all campus locations and operate virtually on Wednesday, July 7.  

Courses may meet remotely. Students should check for course specific instructions from their instructors through Lakehawk email or Canvas. All employees should coordinate with their supervisor to work remotely.

LSSC Kids’ College will be closed on Wednesday, July 7.

Cooper Memorial Library on the South Lake Campus will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday and remain closed Wednesday.

During this time there will be no access to any facilities on LSSC campuses. For your safety and others, do not attempt to visit any LSSC campus during this closure. Additional information, as it becomes available, will be posted to social media and LSSC.edu.
