A Leesburg man has been jailed without bond after walking out of a drug rehabilitation center.
Michael David Holcomb, 40, was booked last week at the Lake County Jail after violating his probation in connection with a domestic battery case.
Lake County Court records show that Holcomb left the Lifestreams Adult Choice in-patient treatment center in May in violation of his probation.
He was placed on four years probation in April and ordered to participate in a rehabilitation program. The sentence was the result of an arrest in 2020 in which he attacked a woman and choked her. He said he was going to kill her and told her to, “Die, bitch,” according to an arrest report. A K-9 was needed to help subdue Holcomb at the time of his arrest.
