A Leesburg man who forgot to buckle up was nabbed by Lake County sheriff’s deputies.
Tre Lebron Montgomery, 27, was driving a green Hyundai with Georgia license plates at about 6 p.m. Monday when he was pulled over on Berdetta Street after a deputy noticed Montgomery was not wearing a seatbelt, according to an arrest report.
Montgomery admitted his license was suspended and a check revealed multiple suspensions and previous convictions for driving while license suspended.
The Tennessee native was arrested on a third degree felony charge of driving while license suspended. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
The vehicle he had been driving was turned over to his mother.
