A Leesburg woman was arrested after she was captured on video surveillance on a homeowner’s Ring doorbell.

The homeowner on Truett Street contacted law enforcement early Sunday morning after an Autocraft motorcycle battery was taken from her carport, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The homeowner provided video surveillance from the Ring doorbell that showed 40-year-old Dana Andrea Qualls taking the battery. A short time later, the victim saw Qualls walking down the street. She was carrying the stolen battery and a pack of cigarettes. Drug paraphernalia was found in the pack of cigarettes, by the investigating officer.
