Speeding driver classified as habitual traffic offender nabbed by FHP

A speeding driver classified as a habitual traffic offender was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Gabrielle Eason, 23, of Leesburg, was driving a silver Mitsubishi Outlander at 8:44 p.m. Thursday on State Road 453 when she was caught on radar traveling at 86 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone, according to an arrest report from FHP.

During a traffic stop, Eason admitted her license has been suspended. A check confirmed multiple suspensions and that her license has been revoked for 60 months.

She was arrested on a third degree felony charge of driving while license suspended and ticketed for speeding. She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
