A Leesburg man was arrested after disrobing in a local Tractor Supply store.
The female manager of the store in Eustis on Thursday afternoon spotted 33-year-old Arthur Steve Weingartner taking his pants off in the men’s section of the store, according to an arrest report from the Eustis Police Department. She asked him what he was doing, but he ignored her and continued to remove his pants. He was also drinking a beer.
The manager said she felt “very nervous” because of the way he was acting and he was disrupting other customers.
When an officer arrived at the store and tried to talk to Weingartner, he walked away. The officer threatened to taser Weingartner, but ended up taking him to the ground before handcuffing him.
A pat down turned up a folding knife and a set of metallic knuckles.
He was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, breach of the peace and resisting arrest. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,500 bond.
