William Robert Hall III

William “Bill” Robert Hall III passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Thursday, June 3, 2021, in Leesburg, Florida. He was 64 years old. Bill was born in Wauseon, Ohio on July 29, 1956 to Dorothy and William Jr. Hall (both predeceased). Bill was well known in the Eustis (FL) area, as it was his childhood stomping grounds. Being a proud Eustis Panther, he played basketball, played and coached football, and played the trumpet in the school marching band. He was even asked to march in the opening day parade at Disney World in Orlando, FL playing ’76 Trombones’. The nickname William “Too Tall” Hall stuck with him throughout the years, due to his 6’ 6” adult height. His genuine, all loving, and compassionate heart was as big as his stature. He knew no stranger and lived life to the fullest. Maintaining even close childhood friendships, till the day he passed. Working hard to build and maintain close relationships while selling oil, is what kept him in the business for 40 years. Bill enjoyed sharing his passion for music, space, and football with those around him. He bled Orange and Blue.

Bill married the love of his life, Susan Hall, whom he cherished and adored. He also had 2 children of which he made his whole world. Some of his most treasured moments though, were spent being a PopPop to 3 beautiful Grandchildren. Being surrounded by family and friends was an extremely significant component of what filled Bill with joy. Beach excursions were exciting, carefree and full of laughs. Seeing everyone around him enjoying themselves, brought him an abundance of happiness. He relished in relaxing retreats to the family cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Crisp mornings started out sitting on the front porch sipping coffee while overlooking the still green acreage, listening to the soft flow of the creek. He would follow up with daytrips around his favorite areas, gem mining, or just telling old stories of when he was a boy. His nostalgic wisdom and stories will live on for future generations. A proud, authentic, charismatic old soul … That was William Robert Hall III. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Susan Hall of Fruitland Park. His children Cambria Rochelle Hall Cayton (Michael) of Wildwood, William Robert Hall IV (Hannah) of Leesburg. His grandchildren Annabelle Iovieno Cayton of Wildwood, Mila Elisabeth Hall and William Robert Hall V of Leesburg. His sister Deborah Ann Hall Niesner (Grant) and nephew Nickolas Alexander Niesner of Eustis. Also, cousins that he loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Good News Church in Leesburg, FL at 11a.m. Please wear Florida Gator colors/attire (orange and blue) to reflect the love for his favorite college team. An informal reception to follow at The Spradlin Residence, 36100 Poinsettia Ave. Fruitland Park, FL 34731.

In leu of flowers, please donate to Lake County Humane Society, in Umatilla, FL or Leesburg Humane Society, in Leesburg, FL.
