A Leesburg teen armed with a gun was arrested after alleged threats aimed at his girlfriend.
Christopher Prentiss Andrews Jr., 19, was arrested on a charge of domestic aggravated assault after allegedly threatening his 16-year-old girlfriend, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 2500 block of Colonial Street where he had been holding a firearm in his hand and “pacing back and forth in the street,” the report said. He appeared to be “extremely upset” and was using derogatory language toward his girlfriend, the report said. He threatened to “shoot up” the residence. The incident was captured on cell phone video.
Andrews was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
