Donald James Gardner

Donald James Gardner, 84, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born on March 18, 1937 in Salisbury Center, New York. He served in the United States Army. Donald worked in road construction, retiring from Professional Dirt Service, Eustis, Florida. Donald was an avid hunter spending many years at our hunting camp in Ellaville, Georgia hunting with his sons, grandchildren and family. He was of the Methodist faith

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Virginia Augar Gardner; Sons: Les (Marybeth) Gardner; Randy (Deeanna) Gardner and Rod (Angela) Gardner; Sister: Leita Murphy. Grandchildren: Donnie Gardner, Brandon (Sara) Gardner, Brooke (Shelby) Brown and Randy Gary Gardner. Great- grandchildren: Hailey Brown, Haven Brown, Henry Brown, Hudson Brown, Myles Gardner and Alice Gardner. Donald was predeceased by his brother: Herbert Gardner and sister: Erma Siver.

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
