Donald “Damn Good Don” Eugene Brinkman, 86, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Leesburg, Florida on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

Donald was born on July 5, 1934 in Hammond, Indiana to James and Arbutus Brinkman. Donald spent most of his career at his construction equipment business. He and his wife Lynda had a big house where all of the “Brinkman Bunch” could be found. Later, upon his retirement, Donald and wife Lynda found a new profession in designing, making and selling their own jewelry. Donald and Lynda loved to travel and they would take their wares to craft and trade shows. Donald was also a member of the Topless Club; a convertible club where Don would take and love to show off his pristine Toyota Celera.

Donald is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lynda Sue Brinkman who passed on July 13, 2018, parents James and Arbutus Brinkman, his son James Paul Brinkman and daughter Joy Lynn Wilkins, grandson Travis Webber and brother Bob Brinkman and sister-in-law Linda Brinkman. Donald is survived by his daughters; Samera Darling and Deanna Brinkman, son-in-law Matt Wilkins, grandchildren; Chris Kaylor, Michael Webber, Ryan and Erica Darling, great grandsons; Colt and Matteo and dear friends Mike Griffins and his wife Joan who helped Donald so much when Lynda passed and beloved fur baby-Daisy.
