Danny H. Heilman, 84, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2021 at University of Florida Healthcare at Leesburg with his loving wife by his side.
Danny was born on October 7, 1936 in Madeira, Ohio to his parents Joseph L. Heilman and Marcella (Brown) Heilman. He was a successful former owner of a small outdoor equipment and repair business called Brecon Services of Cincinnati for over 20 years. Danny was a proud United States Army Veteran who served during the Post Korean Period. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Holiday Mission in Leesburg.
Danny and his loving wife Marcia moved to Leesburg in 2007 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoyed playing shuffleboard in his community with his friends. Danny also enjoyed the outdoors especially camping and boating with his family in his younger years. He was well known for his loving smile and his blue eyes. Danny always wanted to move to Florida when he retired and enjoyed every moment here. He had many friends and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Marcia Heilman of Leesburg, FL; two sons: Gary Heilman and his wife Judy of Middletown, OH and Greg Heilman and his wife Kelly of Loveland, OH; a daughter: Christa Davenport and her husband Ron of Maineville, OH; a brother: Doug Heilman of Madeira, OH; a sister: Betty Nooe of Mt. Carmel, OH; four grandsons: Steven Reeves, Kyle Reeves, Calob Heilman and Caden Heilman; one great grandson: Nolan Reeves and several loving nieces and nephews.
Services to be determined at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donation be made to First Baptist Church of Leesburg, to Benevolence Center in Danny’s loving memory.
