James Kenneth “Kenny” Toole, 69, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2021 under the care of Family and Staff of Vitas Hospice.
Kenny was born on January 3, 1952 in Leesburg, Florida to his parents James C. Toole and Estelle (Barnes) Toole. He was a Retired Linesman for Sprint Telephone Company and began his career for United Telephone in Leesburg, Florida. He and his loving wife moved to Leesburg 3 years ago from Avon Park, Florida and prior to that had resided in Hiawassee, Georgia. He was of the Christian faith. Kenny was an avid golfer until his health declined. He was a former member of the Sons of the American Legion and The Moose Club both of Avon Park, Florida.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 19 years: Jan Toole of Leesburg, FL; a daughter: Stacy Hooks of Ocala, FL; four sisters: Opal Groves and her husband James of Leesburg, FL, Linda Brown and her husband Pete of Leesburg, FL, Delores Frizzell and her husband Jay of Lady Lake, FL and Beverly Vail of Leesburg, FL; two grandsons: Dalton Hooks and Clayton Hooks both of Sebring, FL; many loving nieces and nephews as well as many grand-nieces and grand-nephews and many loving friends.
The family has requested donations be made to either The American Heart Association at www.heart.org or Alzheimers’s Foundation at www.alzfdn.org . A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
