Sue Anne Baxter Geiger, 83, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021. A second generation native of Leesburg, she was the daughter of Fred and Virginia Baxter of Leesburg. She attended Leesburg High School and Rollins College.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary K. Leware in 2003 and her husband, Dow, in 2013.
She is survived by a son, David Brian Geiger.
She was lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Church and active in many activities, especially the Altar Guild where she was directress for many years and served as Directress for the Central Florida Diocese for 6 years. She was also actively involved in the community serving the Leesburg Library, the Lake County Master Gardeners and the sisterhood of PEO.
She loved reading, traveling and learning and her pets. She was proud of the fact she finished her BA degree at Rollins College in 1994.
