Delena Durham, 53, of Leesburg, FL spread her wings and peacefully took her flight on Saturday, December 19, 2020. God took her as an angel to live eternal life.
Delena was born on October 5, 1967 in Winter Haven, FL to her parents, Edward and Carolyn Durham. Delena grew up in Leesburg, FL where she attended the local schools and studied at the Lake Sumter Community College. The biggest part of Delena’s life was her retail business, Sunglass Alley, located at the Market of Marion in Marion County, FL where she made her customers and employees the number one priority; they were her business family.
She was a devoted mother to her son Clayton, a wonderful grandmother to her granddaughter, Kyleigh, a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and a true friend to those that knew her.
She is survived by son: Clayton Keown; granddaughter: Kyleigh Zakrewski; mother: Carolyn Durham; brothers: Kevin (Linda) Durham, Stacy Durham; sisters: Roxanne (Mike) Jernigan; and Marta (Steve) Vordemark. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father: John Edward Durham; brother: John Edward Durham; and her life partner Jeffrey Keown.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday December 26, 2020 at Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg. Additionally a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
