Annual toy run motorcycle ride for Salvation Army returning to Leesburg

The 17th Annual Benefit Ride for the Salvation Army of Lake and Sumter Counties is returning to Leesburg later this holiday season.

The ride, which will be escorted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office motorcade, will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration will take place at Walmart from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with the ride set to begin at 11 a.m.

The cost to participate is $10 per person and 1 new, unwrapped toy.

The ride will end at Gator Harley-Davidson with live entertainment, food, a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle and more.
