Ernie Morris Enterprises, one of the largest educational furniture dealers in the Southeast, is renewing its support of the Lake County Schools Teacher of the Year program.

The company made a $5,000 donation that will be used toward the Jan. 28, 2021, event that recognizes each Teacher of the Year for all Lake County schools. The overall Lake County Teacher of the Year will be announced that evening and the winner will vie for the chance to be Florida’s 2022 Teacher of the Year.

“Ernie Morris Enterprises has been a longtime supporter of our Lake County Schools,” said Carman Cullen, Executive Director of the Education Foundation of Lake County, which coordinates the annual local Teacher of the Year program. “The renewal of their commitment to public school education is especially appreciated as we face fundraising challenges due to the pandemic.”

“We had a great year by God’s grace and we are sharing our thanks to the community,” added Tim Morris, vice president of Ernie Morris Enterprises.
