Norman K. McLenon, 78, Leesburg, Florida passed away on October 5, 2020 at The Villages Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lady Lake, Florida.
Norman was born on May 24, 1942 in Trenton, Michigan to his parents Kenneth Floyd McLenon and Agnes McFarland (Stewart) McLenon. He was a retired Transportation Supervisor for the Romulus Public School System with over 25 years of service. He and his loving wife Rita moved to Leesburg 21 years ago from Romulus, Michigan. He was a proud Veteran who served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Pennbrooke Billiards Club, before his health declined. A favorite hobby for Norman was working on cars, especially 57 Chevy’s.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Rita McLenon of Leesburg, FL; a son: Eric Dale McLenon of Leesburg, FL; two daughters: Cynthia Stasak of Lake Orion, MI and Kristi Hooper and her husband Jason of Romulus, MI; two brothers: Kenneth McLenon of Carleton, MI and Thomas McLenon of New Boston, MI; four grandchildren: Emily Mustafa, Justin Brewer, Michaela McLenon and Brooke Stasak and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and a sister, Sandy Vereb.
