Lauren Philippa Fogleson, age 59, of Leesburg passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
She was born May 13, 1961 in Georgetown, Guyana to the late Leslie Thomas and Veda Ward Thomas. She was a graduate of Clermont College, where she made the National Dean’s List. She worked as a system analyst for EDC (Dallas), was supervisor of adult classes (Dallas ISD), and was a caseworker for TX DCF. After moving to FL, she worked as a home health aide for Visiting Angels, Clermont, FL.
Her family includes her husband, David Fogleson; and her siblings and nieces and nephews, Nelson and Margot Thomas and their children, Steven (deceased), Kevin, Damien, and Abigil; Paula Thomas Haynes (deceased) and her children, Marissa and Susan; Neila Thomas Brown and her daughter, Nicole; Willard Thomas and his children, Joshua, Aaron, and Aiden.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares.
