A driver and his passenger were arrested after a traffic stop at a service station on Main Street in Wildwood.
Anthony Richard Wooden, 39, of Leesburg, had been at the wheel of silver pickup with inoperable taillights at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 301, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. A traffic stop was conducted at the Sunoco service station at 900 S. Main St.
Wooden handed over a small plastic bag which contained 3.8 grams of marijuana. A passenger, 40-year-old Alicia Lynn Murphy, of Leesburg, was found to be in possession of a spoon with the residue of heroin.
Wooden was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $500 bond. Murphy was also booked at the jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
