Motorcycle group holding annual toy run Saturday with extravaganza at Gator Harley-Davidson

The Lake County United Motorcyclist Association is planning its 15th annual Toy Run this Saturday, Dec. 1.

The Lake County United Motorcycle Association’s 15th annual toy run, which will be held Saturday, will end at Gator Harley-Davidson. A BBQ lunch, beer, a cash bar, a 50/50 drawing and live entertainment will be available.

Those wishing to participate in the can sign up at the Leesburg Wal-Mart, located at 2501 N Citrus Blvd, on Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. The ride, which will be escorted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, will leave Wal-Mart at 11 a.m. and travel to Gator Harley-Davidson, located at 1745 U.S. Hwy. 441.

The cost to participate is $10 plus an unwrapped toy. The ride is being held to benefit the Salvation Army and Lake Sumter Families.

Once the participants arrive at the Harley-Davidson dealership, a $5 BBQ lunch will be available, as well as a cash bar and complimentary beer. There also will be 50/50 chance drawing, vendors will be onsite and live entertainment will perform from noon to 4 p.m.
